The new website for the Department of Prisons developed by the Department of Prisons’ Planning and Information Technology Division was launched by Hon. State Minister of Prison Reforms and Prisoners’ Rehabilitation, Dr. Shudarshini Fernandopulle at the State Ministry of Prison Reforms and Prisoner Rehabilitation on 24-09-2020. Secretary to the State Ministry of Prison Reforms and Prisoners’ Rehabilitation Ms. Geethaamani Karunarathna, Commissioner General of Prisons Mr. Thushara Upuldeniya, Commissioner of Prisons (Administration/Rehabilitation), Mr. Chandana Ekanaayaka, Commissioner of Prisons (Operation/ Intelligence) Mr. T. I Uduwara and Officers of the Department of Prisons’ Planning and Information Technology Division participated in the event.
