Two Days Workshop on Prison Management for Prison Officers

Two days’ Workshop on Prison Management for commissioners, senior superintendent of Prisons, superintendent of prisons and assistant superintendent of prisons of the Department of Prisons, was held by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) together with the Department t of Prisons on 22nd and 23rd August 2020 at the Movenpick Hotel – Colpitti. For the inauguration, the Hon. State Minister of Prison Reforms, and Prisoners Rehabilitation, Dr Sudarshani Fernandopulle, the Secretary to the Ministry, Ms Githamani Karunarathna, EU Ambassador, His Excellency Denis Chaibi, the Commissioner General of Prisons, Mr Thushara Upuldeniya, and the Chief of the Head Office of UNODC Programme for Sri Lankan and Maldives, Mr.Troles Vester participated to the occasion.
