Commencement of 43-B Sergeants Training Course.

Preliminary Training Course for 43-B sergeants group of the department promoted on seniority and merit base was started on 18.03.2021 at the Research and Training Center in Angunakolapelessa Prison Premises.

43 officers participated to the training and the duration of the training was 14 days. the Inauguration ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commissioner of Prisons (Industries), Mr.Malin Liyanage. Director of Trainings, Mr.M.F. Lahir, the Superintendent of Angunakolapelessa Prison, Mr.S.K.Palletenna, the Chief Jailor of the Training Center, Mr.H.D.K.N.Premawansa, the Chief Drill Instructor, Mr.Amith Gunawardana, and several officers of the training center participated to the occasion.

The Commissioner of Prisons (Industries), Mr.Malin Liyanage made the inauguration speech starting sergeant training.
