Presentation of Official Medal and Scarf to 04th Scout Camp

With the aim of socializing inmates as better citizens, 04^th Inmates Scout Camp organized by the Department of Prisons has been planned to be held at the Open Prison Camp- Pallekele from 01.04.2023 to 03.04.2023 with the participation of 500 inmates. Hon. Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms, President’s Attorney, Dr.Wijedasa Rajapaksa is going to be the chief guest at the opening ceremony.

Issuing the medal and scarf to camp was, officially presented to the Commissioner General of Prisons, Mr.Thushara Upuldeniya on 29.03.2023 at the Prison Headquarters.

Superintendent of Prisons-Headquarters, Mr. Gamini B. Dinasayaka, Assistant Superintendent of Prisons, Mr.Prasad Premathilaka, Prison Scouting Officer and Special Scout Commissioner, Mr. E.K.Dilum Duminda and a g roup of Scout teachers participated to the event.
